United World Schools

Unit 138, China Works Black Prince Road, London, SE1 7SJ

Description

Over the last 12 years, United World Schools have built 250 schools, trained 1,200 teachers and reached over 43,000 children in Cambodia, Nepal and Myanmar with a life-changing education. We continue to do this by recruiting, training and developing teachers from within local communities to work alongside government teachers. This provides new job opportunities and ensures that the education we provide is relevant to local contexts. We also collaborate with communities that want and need our support, empowering them to build a better life for their children. We work closely with each community to establish a school, involving local people at every step and amplifying their voices.

In the next 3 years, our goal is to reach 250,000 primary school aged children with a life-changing education across the globe because every child has the right to a free, accessible and quality education. Join us on a mission to transform the lives of children and empower entire communities.
