Recently judged to be Boarding School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year awards, Worth is a distinctive day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 11-18 years, set in 500 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside close to London.
We are an academically ambitious school with excellent examination results and pastoral care, and a diverse range of more than 150 co-curricular activities.
Worth is a Catholic school but welcomes pupils of all faiths and no faiths, and our Benedictine values include Community, Humility and Service. These values provide the foundation for a unique education – an education with heart and soul – preparing pupils to become well-rounded individuals who are kind, purpose-driven and community-minded.
Worth retains historic and traditional features whilst effortlessly blending in state-of-the art modern facilities including the magnificent Spencer Building featuring a library, auditorium and Sixth Form centre, and plans for a new Science Building approved for next year. Sports facilities are excellent and there is a superbly equipped Performing Arts Centre.
Sixth Form students select either the International Baccalaureate Diploma or A levels and go on to study at world-class institutions including Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, St Andrews and UCL as well as international destinations across US and Europe.
