We are, first and foremost, an incredibly happy and welcoming school, where each child is known for who they are and feel comfortable. One of the most stand-out features of Cameron Vale, is that there is no one size fits all approach. What we are, is a school of individuals, rather than a homogenous whole and believe in maximising children’s potential - personally, academically and intellectually. Our philosophy is simple; that children who are stimulated and challenged will develop a lifelong love of learning and be inspired to become the best versions of themselves that they can possibly be. We offer a learning environment where children are not only prepared for examination success, but also develop a life-long love of learning. What we have develop, is an educational journey uniquely tailored to help children grow both academically and personally. We foster self-belief, promote curiosity and build resilience through a learning culture where teamwork, taking calculated risks and learning to cope with challenge is the norm and mistakes are seen as a natural part of the learning process. We give our children the time and space to be children, within a community that celebrates diversity and individuality. Whilst recognising that outcomes matter, we also know that the memories of a child’s time with us will last a lifetime. Our aim is to ensure that, at the end of each child’s time with us, they feel that Cameron Vale has made a positive difference to their character, thinking and outlook; that the school has shaped who they will become. From a practical point of view, we are situated in the heart of Chelsea and children can join us aged 2 to enjoy a seamless educational journey to the age of 11. We are co-educational and non-selective to join our nursery or Reception class. We are fortunate enough to have access to extensive sports facilities in Battersea Park as well as our Forest School on Barnes Common.
