Will Le Fleming - Thomas's College

Will Le Fleming

Founding Master of Thomas's College, Thomas's College

Will is the Founding Master of Thomas's College, a new 11-18 co-educational day and boarding school on a magnificent campus in Richmond. He is passionate about educational innovation to focus what schools do on the joy of learning and to combine academic excellence and success with happiness, confidence, creativity and hope for the future.

He has an impressive track record of success within the independent school sector, with a particular understanding of academically ambitious London day schools. Educated at Eton and Clare College, Cambridge, Will began his career as a journalist and author before moving into teaching at St Paul’s School, where he rose to become Undermaster. He went on to a Deputy Headship at St Paul’ Girls’ School. His interest in developing an innovative and pupil-focussed curriculum led first to the Executive Headship of Fulham School and then to The Abbey School in Reading, one of the country's leading academic girls' schools, which was awarded Independent Girls' School of the Year in the final year of his tenure. He is a trustee of Rare Charity, which provides transformative access to education in rural communities in Malawi and Nepal.
