AMADEUS Vienna is an IB Day and Boarding school with an integrated Music and Arts Academy. Students aged 3-18 from more than 50 nationalities live and study here.

IB Continuum School

We deliver the IB’s rigorous academic and core curriculum through the lens of Music, the Arts, and the rich history and culture of our host city. All students gain a breadth of appreciation for Music and the Arts by developing a quality foundation of skills through an exploratory learning approach. 

First School in Europe to offer the Music pathway of the IB CP

We are now the first School in Europe to offer the Music pathway of the IB Career-related Programme for students who wish to pursue a musical career whilst receiving a top academic education. During the two-year programme, students follow undergraduate music studies, which will provide the student with a Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Diploma in Music. Additionally, students will study a minimum of two academic IB Diploma Programme subjects, for which they will receive International Baccalaureate Certificates.

AMADEUS Music & Arts Academy

For students who prefer to mainly focus on the academics but would like to develop their musical and artistic skills alongside their studies, we offer the opportunity to join our AMADEUS Music & Arts Academy. The academy offers classes in music, art, and dance from a beginner to a professional level.

Additional School Activities

AMADEUS Vienna offers a range of Additional School Activities. Students can choose from a range of activities, workshops, and clubs in the areas of music, arts, environment, technology, and a variety of sports. Examples are Debating, Volleyball, Basketball, Photography, Painting, Drone Racing, Language classes, and many more.

Next Level Boarding

In August 2021, we will open our brand-new boarding house which will be the envy of boarding schools worldwide. The twin-rooms all include a private sleeping area and an en-suite bathroom, with large windows providing light and views of Vienna’s skyline on one side and the green nature on the other. The city centre is just a short tram ride away, and Vienna International Airport can be reached in only 30 minutes by taxi. This beautiful location contributes to making AMADEUS Vienna boarding experience truly unique.

During weekdays, boarding students may spend the time after school to practice on their instruments in a private music room, or go to our study hall where teachers are ready to support and help with homework. On the weekends, we love to make social activities, cook together, explore museums and activities here in Vienna, or make longer trips to Austria’s many beautiful sights.
