Founded in 1955 through the charism of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM), Marymount International School London is an independent school for girls, nurturing the limitless potential of curious, creative young women of diverse faiths and backgrounds. We proudly stand as the first all-girls’ school in the United Kingdom to adopt the International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB MYP and Diploma), bringing together day and boarding students ages 11 through 18 in a personal, dynamic, intellectually challenging, and supportive environment where multiple perspectives are respected and celebrated.
Based on the International Baccalaureate curricula, Marymount London offers:
The Middle Years Program (Grades 6-10) is a student-centered programme encouraging each student to draw connections among eight subject groups and the world in which she lives.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma (Grades 11 and 12) builds on the strong foundation of the MYP, preparing each graduate for university studies and lifelong learning.
Outstanding results: 100% pass rate, with an average of 36 points.
The rigorous academic programme offered to each Marymount girl is complemented by a rich palette of interesting clubs, engaging activities, and educational trips. Students participate in a number of inter-school activities throughout the year, developing an understanding of how the work of the RSHM continues to touch the lives of thousands of students across the globe.
