Miss Lucinda began her teaching career as a work experience assistant at Young England Kindergarten, Pimlico, in 2000. She then continued her training and gained a degree in Early Childhood Studies, followed by a PGCE in Primary Education specialising in Early Years. Miss Lucinda obtained her QTS in June 2008 whilst teaching a reception class at Eaton House, The Manor School. Miss Lucinda re-joined Young England in 2009, became Head Teacher in September 2011, and is now Principal of both YEK Pimlico & Bayswater.
 

YEK Pimlico was founded in 1963 and is one of London’s longest-established nursery schools, providing families with outstanding Early Years education for decades. The team are thrilled to announce the launch of their new nursery school, Young England Kindergarten, Bayswater, from January 2025 onwards.

Young England Kindergarten, Pimlico, is proud to have been awarded an OFSTED 'outstanding' rating in two consecutive inspections. The YEK team are passionate about creating a fun, loving, and educational space for children. They encourage children to explore their potential, developing at a relaxed pace that is rewarding and challenging.
