Jo founded Bursary Assessment Associates in 2017. Following her experience as Director of Finance and Operations at a leading day school, Jo recognised the need to provide more support to schools and families with the bursary assessment process. She established Bursary Assessment Associates to provide the link between the school and family, managing the bursary application and assessment process on their behalf in an impartial, insightful and joined up way.
Having grown up in one of the most deprived areas in the Country, Jo has first-hand experience of the transformative opportunities of a great education and is motivated to help families access these life changing opportunities for their children. Before founding BAA, Jo spent almost 30 years in international board level roles, she is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and qualified in Advanced Programme Management.
Jo is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the company, and she works closely with school leaders and organisations representing the independent school sector to ensure that young people have access to great educational opportunities whatever their background.
