After completing his studies at the University of Cambridge, Desmond spent fifteen years working as a teacher and senior manager within the maintained and independent school sectors. Specialising in working with gifted and talented children as well as with those with additional needs, Desmond trained in Psychology of Education via the MSc programme at the Institute of Education, University of London.
Desmond has a parallel career in music, drama and the performing arts and he employs these modalities in his work with children to develop creative learning solutions that boost confidence, support the development of effective strategies, and make learning fun.
