Christopher is currently Chief Executive of IAPS, a post he took up in September 2018.

Prior to that he was headmaster and Chief Executive of Leicester Grammar School Trust from June 2001. Leicester Grammar School is an academically selective, HMC co-educational day school with 1430 pupils. He was Chairman of HMC 2015/16 and unusually again in 2017/18. HMC is the association of the leading independent senior schools in the UK. Prior to this he was Chairman of the HMC Professional Development Committee 2009/14 and was an HMC Full Board member from 2006 to 2018.

In the above roles Christopher has delivered numerous courses to senior leaders on a wide range of professional topics. He has written for many national publications and commented on educational matters in various forms of media.

He is a Director of the ISC Board and a member of the Leicester University Council. He was previously an East Midlands Business Champion when he helped to create a new school for autistic children.

Christopher climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in 2008 with his three sons.
