Charismatic leader Natasha Dangerfield took the helm as Westonbirt Headmistress in 2013. Commencing her career teaching Physical Education at Downe House, Natasha progressed through a variety of roles at prominent independent schools, gaining significant experience in teaching, pastoral care and leadership.
In the years preceding her headship, Natasha enjoyed success as Head of PE and Sixth Form Boarding at North Foreland Lodge, Director of Pastoral Care at Gordonstoun and Deputy Headmistress at Harrogate Ladies. Runner up in 2017 as ‘Best Head of a Public School’ in the prestigious Tatler Schools Awards, Natasha has been aptly described as ‘turbo-charged’ by Absolutely Education magazine.
After a significant career working with children and as a mother of three teens, Mrs Dangerfield believes in supporting individuals to become the best version of themselves.
At Westonbirt she has fostered an environment to create inspiring opportunities where students are encouraged to learn from their mistakes and to risk more than others in doing so.
