Jonathan Hetherington Jonathan became Headmaster at More House School, Frensham, in 2015, having spent the past eleven years teaching in the field of special educational needs.

More House School provides Ofsted Outstanding day and boarding education for 480 boys aged eight to eighteen who are intelligent, but thrive in a specialist environment because of Specific Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language disorders, and associated special educational needs.

Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Southampton, and Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Leicester.  He completed the Graduate Teacher Programme with the University of Southampton and holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

A keen church-bell ringer, Jonathan is the Ringing Master and Tower Captain at St Andrew’s, Farnham. Married to Lizzy, also a teacher and, with two young children, Jonathan is also a governor at Treloar’s School and College, Alton, which provides high-quality education and care to children and young people with physical disabilities.
