Windermere School

Nestled on a hillside within the Lake District National Park, Windermere School enjoys one of the most picturesque views in the Lake District and Cumbria, and arguably, one of the best school views in the world.

Windermere School offers students an education which combines academic achievement with a host of extra-curricular activities, all underpinned by a spirit of adventure.

Our traditions and ethos create a supportive community within the school, where strong relationships exist between staff and students. Each student is known as an individual and this allows us to offer exceptional pastoral care.

Our woodland campus contains all of our academic, boarding, and sports facilities. We are privileged to have our own Watersports Centre, Hodge Howe, less than a mile away.
