Falcons School for Girls

Rated Excellent by ISI (2020) Falcons School for Girls provides independent education for girls aged four to eleven years. Operating from the same site is Peregrines Nursery School, offering independent co-educational provision for children aged two to four years.

We are a warm and caring school, taking great pride in developing our pupils into happy, kind and confident individuals. With small class sizes and a reputation for excellent pastoral care, we are capable of tailoring education to individual needs, ensuring children thrive academically, creatively and socially.

Originally located in Ealing, the school moved to Putney in 2014 and benefits from being based across four beautiful Edwardian buildings in quiet, leafy Woodborough Road. With two large playgrounds, an on-site Forest School – and very soon – our very own hedgehog sanctuary, there’s an abundance of opportunities for outdoor learning and playing together. We are also highly fortunate to have a bright, modern Science lab and IT suite complete with Mac computers for Coding and Music Technology.

Our girls are well prepared and perform excellently in the competitive 11+ entry examinations, leaving us at the end of Year 6 to attend to some of the country’s top day and boarding schools, including City of London School for Girls, St Paul’s Girls, Lady Eleanor Holles, Francis Holland and Wimbledon High.
