Cobham Hall: Inspiring Futures, Empowering Individuals

Nestled in the 150 acresof the Kent countryside, Cobham Hall is an independent day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 11 to 19.

A proud member of the Mill Hill Education Group, Cobham Hall offers a truly transformative education, blending academic excellence with character development in a warm and inclusive environment.

At Cobham Hall, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Our approach nurtures confident, independent young people who are ready to thrive in an ever-changing world. Students are encouraged to challenge themselves, take the lead and develop a global perspective through a rich and diverse curriculum that extends far beyond the classroom.

Academic Excellence with a Global Outlook
With small class sizes and a personalised approach, every student receives the support and encouragement they need to achieve their best. Our highly qualified and passionate teachers foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and creativity, ensuring students are well-prepared for university and beyond. A strong tradition of academic achievement is matched by a commitment to developing articulate, compassionate, and socially aware individuals.

Leadership, Life Skills and Real-World Readiness
Cobham Hall’s renowned Perspectives Programme equips students with essential life skills, leadership training and practical knowledge. From managing finances and cookery to car maintenance and first aid, students are prepared for life with confidence and capability. Leadership is developed through opportunities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Model United Nations, student-led councils and international projects.

A Home from Home
Boarding at Cobham Hall offers a supportive and vibrant community where students from all over the world build lifelong friendships and grow in independence.

“Through our time at Cobham the boarding staff placed a ray of sunshine in the place they made our home. We will never forget their time, effort and patience with us. They never failed to make us feel loved, cherished and supported. To quote 'Home is not just four walls and a roof, sometimes we find comfort in the arms of those who stood by our side, through the good times and the bad.' This is the type of environment the boarding staff created for us” - Boarding Alumni, Class of 2024

Our historic manor house and beautiful grounds provide a peaceful and inspiring setting, while our pastoral care ensures every student feels safe, supported and valued.

Creativity and Challenge
Whether performing on stage, competing in Sport or exploring new ideas in the lab, Cobham Hall students are encouraged to express themselves and pursue their passions. Our extensive co-curricular programme includes everything from Music and Drama to BoxFit, debating and environmental initiatives.

Inclusivity and Support
We celebrate diversity and are committed to providing a supportive learning environment for all. Additional specialist care is available through the Student Support Department, which assists those with specific learning needs, and the EAL Department, which helps international students both academically and socially.

Located on the grounds, Bligh House, a brand-new SEND Centre in partnership with Chiltern Way Academy, ensures that students with additional needs receive tailored support to achieve their full potential.

Empowering Tomorrow’s Leaders
Our alumnae go on to excel in a wide range of fields, equipped with the resilience, empathy and leadership skills that define a Cobham Hall education. Ranging from Olymipic gold medalists to environmental activists, here, students don’t just learn - they flourish.

Discover the Cobham Hall difference, where individuality is celebrated, leadership is nurtured and futures are shaped.
