Bradfield College

Bradfield is a genuinely kind, happy and down to earth school where young people are valued for who they are and who they can be. Our belief that all aspects of school life are integral to our pupils’ education. 

Set in stunning Berkshire countryside, less than an hour from London and 40 minutes from Heathrow, Bradfield’s backdrop is an intrinsic part of the learning experience, offering pupils an ‘Education for Life’. The College is a rich, varied and inclusive community, which draws from a range of backgrounds (over 60 feeder schools, and a significant number of bursary recipients). 

Faulkner’s is what makes Bradfield College different. All first-year pupils (Year 9 girls and boys) spend their first year in Faulkner’s before moving onto their senior boarding house for their remaining four years at the College. We recognise that the change from prep school to senior school is a big one for any child and should not be underestimated. By providing a home-from-home environment, Faulkner’s makes this change as smooth as possible and allows us to provide the highest quality of pastoral care whilst new pupils get to know themselves and each other better. 

Family-friendly full boarding with flexibility on Saturday and Sunday evenings appeals to families who value the immersive nature of boarding education and the opportunities it brings but wish to integrate this with modern family life.
