Outdoor Education at St Alban's College

St Alban’s College

At St Alban’s College, Outdoor Education is a carefully structured, progressive programme that develops boys year by year. Each grade participates in age appropriate camps and expeditions that build essential skills such as teamwork, self discipline, leadership and resilience. These experiences grow in depth and challenge as boys mature, preparing them intentionally for the defining 23 day Form 3 Journey.

The Journey is the culmination of this formation. Over three transformative weeks, boys step beyond their comfort zones, navigating remote landscapes, sharing responsibility and learning perseverance through real challenge. Guided by experienced staff, they reflect deeply, build lasting brotherhood and discover inner strength.

Outdoor Education at St Alban’s is not an add on. It is a cornerstone of our formation, shaping young men of courage, humility and character, prepared not only for examinations, but for life.
