Inspired by Ian Fleming’s original story and the much-loved 1968 film, this production brings the magic of Chitty to life with West Buckland’s trademark ambition and creativity. Following the huge sell-out success of Les Misérables in 2024, the Drama and Music departments have once again pushed the boundaries to create a show-stopping musical packed with surprises.

Budding actors from across the school have been working tirelessly in rehearsals mastering choreography and refining harmonies, while technical theatre students have been perfecting every detail behind the scenes – from stage management and lighting design to sourcing hundreds of sound effects. The result is a vibrant, high‑energy production packed with bold musical numbers including “Toot Sweets” and “Me Ol’ Bamboo”, unforgettable characters, and a storyline bursting with thrilling twists and joyful adventure.
