Cobham Hall School
A New Era
Cobham Hall, a school long celebrated for its trailblazing spirit, is once again making history. Founded over 60 years ago as a pioneering girls’ school, the Kent-based institution took a bold step in 2023 by welcoming boys into its Sixth Form for the first time. Now, following the resounding success of that move, Cobham Hall is proudly opening its doors to boys across all year groups - from Year 7 through to Year 13.

“It has been a pleasure to watch our Sixth Form boys thrive in Cobham’s distinctive family environment,” says Headmistress Wendy Barrett. “We are now thrilled to welcome our first boys into all year groups.”

Nestled in a magnificent historic estate surrounded by 150 acres of picturesque countryside, Cobham Hall offers a rare blend of tranquillity and accessibility - no more than 30 minutes from central London. But its appeal runs far deeper than its scenic setting. Known for its patoral excellence and a nurturing, broad-based education, Cobham Hall is redefining what it means to be a modern school.

The move to full co-education marks more than just a structural shift - it’s a reflection of the School’s inclusive and forward-thinking ethos. Cobham’s co-ed approach encourages collaboration, healthy competition and mutual respect, allowing students to flourish both as individuals and as part of a vibrant, diverse community.

With a non-selective approach, Cobham Hall celebrates every student’s unique potential. Pupils are consistently encouraged to stretch their limits, discover new passions and embrace challenges - living up to the School’s belief that “there is more in them than they think.”

As Cobham Hall enters this exciting new chapter, it remains firmly committed to preparing young people for life beyond the classroom - empowering them with confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.
