Alicia Luba

Alicia Luba is the Consultancy Director at Dukes Education and Oxbridge Applications. She holds a first-class degree in English Literature from Oxford and also an MA in Shakespeare from Kings College, London. Alicia has been professionally consulting with students, schools and parents since 2013, specialising in the Arts and Humanities subjects. She regularly takes on her own Premier Service students as well as conducting the initial Private Consultations in the London office or around the globe. Aliciatravels to meet clients and schools in the United Arab Emirates, Italy, China, Nigeria and most recently, Oman. She is an expert in UCAS preparation, personal statements, admissions tests and the interview process.

James Higgins

James Higgins is a qualified teacher and former Head of Spanish and Head of Y10 and 11 having taught in Lewisham for four years prior to joining Bonas MacFarlane. At Bonas MacFarlane, he has created an online university preparation programme and now leads the company’s university advisory service. He is passionate about education and remains heavily involved with Teach First; previously Chairing South London’s Action Network, delivering CPD for new teachers and giving speeches, as well as sitting on several national and local committees.
