Each year, fee assistance continues to increase, with both the amount available and the number who benefit rising. Since 2011, the value of bursaries has increased by more than £80 million. (ISC 2016/2017). Susan Hamlyn, director emerita of the Good Schools Guide, will discuss what support is out there and how you can find it.

Susan is the Director of The Good Schools Guide Education Consultants (GSGEC). The GSGAS has 32 expert and experienced advisors and is a unique consultancy service for parents on all matters to do with education and parenting. Susan was editor of The Good Schools Guide for many years, has visited over 200 schools and has advised and guided many hundreds of parents. She is an English teacher, formerly head of dept in a London girls' independent school. She has written six 11+ books for parents to use with their children.
