Description

The Holmewood School caters for children and young people aged 7-19 year olds and diagnosed with high-functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome and other language, communication and social difficulties.  The School’s philosophy is founded on a desire to make a difference and to challenge the way all members of the community think about autism.

The School aims to enable every young person to flourish by encouraging and building upon their unique strengths and interests. Students are supported to develop and deploy strategies that overcome and cope with their difficulties. In addition to academic achievement, the school helps to develop the social, emotional and personal skills of each student. The Holmewood School holds an Autism Accreditation from the National Autistic Society.
