SPEAKERS:

Will PettyDirector of Bonas MacFarlane, William Petty was educated at Thomas's, Harrow and Edinburgh University. He has specialist teaching qualifications and has worked with the highly-regarded Dyslexia Teaching Centre in Kensington, where he specialised in complex case management.

Through his tuition experience he became Director of Tuition at Bonas MacFarlane Education in 2009 and has since become a co-director of the entire company. In the last ten years he has overseen the recruitment and training of over 500 of London's most sought-after tutors utilising his own experiences along the way. The children who have benefited from this tuition have gone on to the UK's leading schools including Eton, Harrow, Westminster and St. Paul's, some winning scholarships in the process.

In his role as an Educational Consultant William has advised countless families from around the globe on gaining places at leading Independent Schools in the UK. He has been featured in publications including The Times, The Economist and Tatler and has appeared on BBC Radio 4's Today programme.

His expertise have been called upon by many companies including Coutts and Sothebys.

William feels passionately about independent education and looks forward to many more years working in and around the sector. He continues to lead the consultancy team along with co-director Lucy Hart and also devotes much of his time touring the globe, co-hosting The British Boarding Schools Show with his colleagues. The show will be held in 16 cities alone in 2019.
