William is the third generation to oversee the daily running of Hill House, one of the biggest, privately owned prep schools in London. Hill House was founded by his grandparents seventy one years ago. William is personally involved in every aspect of school life. This ranges from communicating with parents and managing logistical matters to launching Hill House Online during the pandemic and rolling out Apple technology innovations across the school this autumn.

William wholeheartedly believes happy children are successful children. He thinks it is essential that parents come to see for themselves the children in their school environment and he dedicates the start of every day to individual tours. A music scholar, William is active in the extensive musical life of the school while he enjoys performing professionally in this country and internationally. William is married to an opera and theatre designer and together they have a son who is currently studying at Winchester College.
