Tom Duckling

Tomas Duckling is Headmaster of Dubai College, one of the UAE’s leading academically selective schools. An experienced international educator and school leader, Tom is passionate about placing students at the heart of every decision and creating a school culture where academic excellence goes hand in hand with character, kindness and personal growth.

Before joining Dubai College, Tom spent eight years at Aiglon College in Switzerland, where he held senior leadership responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school, curriculum and pastoral care, as well as leading its global scholarship outreach. Prior to this, he was Assistant Head at Jerudong International School in Brunei and began his teaching career in London.

Tom holds a degree in History and Politics from the University of Nottingham and an MBA in Educational Leadership (International) from UCL. He has a particular interest in character education, philosophy and the future of learning, and is an advocate for developing young people who are not only academically successful, but thoughtful, curious and equipped to make a positive contribution to the world.
