Suzie Longstaff
Suzie is the founding Principal of London Park Schools, set up in April 2023 to offer a more student-centric and forward-thinking approach to education. With 11-16 co-educational day schools in Clapham and Mayfair, feeding one joint coeducational sixth form in Victoria, London Park schools is committed to providing smaller and supportive schools that provide a breath of fresh air, an outstanding modern education, in an environment where every child is known, heard and matters.
With a career spanning single sex, co-educational, day and boarding schools, Suzie has a deep understanding of the south London market. With current experience as Principal of a London Park School Clapham, recent experience as Head of Putney High School GDST and slightly longer ago at Kingston Grammar School, Suzie is thoroughly qualified on the topic of finding the right school for your child south of the river.
Named as one of the 25 innovators and influencers in education in 2019, Suzie has helped to champion some of the most exciting changes in British education and is a passionate advocate of student-led, experiential learning. As an Independent Schools Inspector and Governor of two prep schools south of the river in London, Suzie brings additional understanding of the challenges that families face in the competitive south London market and ideas on how to find the right school where your child will thrive.
Prior to moving into education, Suzie had a successful rowing career, and was a British Olympian, coxing the British Olympic VIII at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the Cambridge University ‘Goldie’ boat in the 1997 and 1998 Boat Races.
Suzie is married, with twin Year 8 daughters and lives in Southwest London.
