Selina Boyd
Selina has been with the Good Schools Guide since 2020 as the International Editor. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience of international education having previously co-founded School Notices Asia and consulted for BESSA (British Education and Schools Show in Asia), Talk Education, and the US college consultancy, IvyWise. With her extensive network of school leaders, admissions teams, and the many families she meets while reviewing schools around the world, Selina offers unparalleled insight into the subtle nuances behind schools’ glossy marketing materials and a deep understanding of different curricula and educational pathways.
Now based in the UK, Selina lived in Singapore for 12 years due to two family relocations. ‘Having moved my own children between British and international schools, first as young children and later as teenagers, I empathise with the anxieties families face when considering a school move. I truly enjoy advising and supporting other families as they navigate their own decision-making processes.’
