Born in Spain, Sara Williams-Ryan grew up in Switzerland where she studied History at the University of Geneva before moving to the UK, completing first a PGCE and then a Master’s Degree in Education.

Sara’s first teaching post in the UK was at Coopers School, in Kent, before moving to Ibstock Place School as Head of Spanish and then Head of Modern Languages, teaching Junior and Senior pupils. She also spent two years teaching Spanish to adults in the evenings.

Sara joined Peregrines Nursery and Falcons School for Girls in September 2018 from Emanuel School, where she spent 16 years in senior roles, both academic (Head of the Modern Foreign Languages faculty) and pastoral (first, Senior Tutor for Girls and then Assistant Head Pastoral).

In her spare time, Sara loves reading, music and dance and volunteers for a hospital radio.
