Sara has worked in education for over 5 years following a marketing career across a variety of sectors. These include the Music Industry, Computer Games, The British and International Tennis Federations and Travel. Throughout, her area of specialism has been children and families and so the move into education was a natural next step.
Sara and her family relocated from London to the Surrey/Hampshire border when her children were Nursery age, in search of a better choice of schools. It is her experience as a parent of three children, who between them have attended schools in the state and independent sector as day and boarding students, that she feels helps to qualify her for the job she does today.
Frensham Heights is a school which has challenged and altered her own views towards education, converted her to an approach where no uniform and first name terms are the norm and where the incredible relationships between children and teachers make for a happy and less stressful environment. Frensham’s strength in the arts has also meant Sara has found a home for her own passion, music. Two of her three children attended Frensham and it is because of their experience that she is such a passionate proponent of the school she now works in.
