Sam is a qualified accountant and for 22 years provided internal and external audit, and advisory services to independent schools in 3 specialist audit firms. Since 2019 she has provided finance, risk and governance advice to the education sector. Sam has chaired a number of boards and committees for independent schools, State schools, a multi academy trusts and a special education needs school. Sam’s interest in governance, risk and strategy has developed over many years and she is passionate about building resilience in schools and working with bursars, heads and their boards to achieve it.
