Head at Fulham Prep School since 2018, Neill has been an instrumental leader to drive the expansion of Fulham School which now incorporates Fulham Senior school in addition to the Pre-prep and Prep. He is a great advocate of the school’s approach to combine stretch and challenge across the curriculum with a kind and nurturing environment in which to grow and develop.
Neill previously taught biology at Wellington College for 24 years, where he ran a boarding house for 12 years. He spent three years on secondment at Wellington’s Prep School, Eagle House, where he was Deputy Head Strategy. He spent the last three years at Wellington as a Deputy Head Pastoral. He is passionate about sports of all kinds, especially football, having played football for England Universities in 1992. You will often find him cheering his students during weekend fixtures.
He is married to Jane, who is Head of school at Alleyns in Dulwich. They have two children; Josephine graduated from Bristol University with a Classics degree and is now studying a Graduate Diploma in Law in London and Jamie studying English at Durham.
