Maxine has been a Head for 21 years and has worked in schools in West London, Surrey and Bedfordshire. She is currently Head of Notting Hill Prep School a co-educational, non-selective 4-13 school. 

Maxine was a bursary pupil at a GDST school and is truly appreciative of the opportunities that a great education can offer. As Head at St. Paul’s Juniors for six years, she led the selection process for entry at 7+/8+ and 11+. At NHP she is very involved in helping parents make the best choices for their children. Her key message is, ‘will your child be happy in the school you are looking at?’
Having taught in both the independent and state sector, and having been a governor in both systems as well, Maxine can offer a wealth of experience and practical advice to parents as they navigate the different stages of their child’s educational journey.
