Mark White was educated at Eton College and Edinburgh University, where he read History
and Politics. After five years in two retail business, he completed a Secondary PGCE in
History at Bristol University and taught in Cheltenham at a large comprehensive for ten
years, where he was an Assistant Headteacher. A move to Oxford and the Dragon School,
saw him become Deputy Head (Academic). Over the past seven years, he has been both Head
of Hazlegrove Prep School, a day and boarding school in Somerset, and currently he is Head
of Wetherby Prep in Marylebone, London.
He lives in Oxfordshire with his family. All his three children have experienced both prep
school and boarding senior schools and are now working in London or at university.
