Ireland

A native of Belfast, Marius Carney has worked in education in the UK, Ireland, and internationally for over thirty years. He is currently the Headmaster of Glenstal Abbey School in Ireland, a small Benedictine boarding and day school for boys set amongst 500 acres and renowned for providing the individual care and attention that enables each boy to flourish, maximising his potential. Marius is dedicated to the promotion of the Arts in education, and has always made time to contribute to extracurricular music.  He directs the Schola Cantorum of Glenstal Abbey School, who have recently returned from a successful choir tour to Rome.
