Lydia Kyle
Lydia Kyle is an experienced educational leader with over 16 years of teaching experience across both standalone preparatory and all-through schools. She began her career in a standalone prep school before moving into all-through settings, where she has developed a clear and well-informed understanding of the value a cohesive, all-through education can offer pupils. Her experience spans a range of contexts, including a period in the state sector, giving her a broad and balanced perspective on education in the UK.
Lydia currently holds a senior role at Queen's Gate School, an intentionally small, all-through school for girls with a strong focus on personalised teaching and learning. This approach underpins her commitment to ensuring that every pupil is recognised as an individual and supported to thrive.
She serves as a team inspector for the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), contributing to numerous inspections nationwide, and is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, reflecting her commitment to professional excellence and continuous development.
