Lottie was educated at the Dragon School, Oxford and Cheltenham Ladies’ College. She then
completed a BA (Hons) in History of Art and Architecture at Manchester University before receiving a
PGCE at the Institute of Education in London. Lottie taught at Broomwood Hall in London and Elstree
School, Berkshire, before moving to Cottesmore with her husband, Tom, to run the school in 2008.
Lottie ran the boarding from 2008 to 2012 and still oversees many aspects of it. Having had her own
children, the eldest is boarding at Cottesmore, she is in charge of admissions and has a full role in
the school as Head’s wife too. Cottesmore is a family run school which ensures that all children are
well looked after whilst enjoying all that boarding school has to offer.
