Helen Lowe has been Head of Bute House Preparatory School for Girls since 2012. During her thirty years career in education Helen has worked extensively in both the maintained and independent sectors, at secondary and primary schools, teaching English and Drama. She is a Governor at Hampton Boys School, a member of the Governors Education Committee at Latymer Upper School, a Team Inspector for ISI and sits on the Members and Accreditation Committee for the GSA.
Helen is committed to ensuring children move on to the right school for them at 11+. Her schools non-competitive academic ethos is unique; girls are encouraged to run their own best race. She works tirelessly with parents to choose the right school for their daughter and to support them in their navigation of the 11+ minefield!
Helen is married with two grown-up children and enjoys all aspects of the Arts in her spare time.
