Hazel Bagworth-Mann

Dr Bagworth-Mann began her career at the Historical Manuscripts Commission after completing her PhD on the development of elementary education during the 19th century. She also worked at the National Archives before joining North London Collegiate School in 2006.
Her appointment as Interim Headmistress at NLCS follows leadership roles as Assistant Head of Upper School, Head of Middle School and, most recently, Deputy Head Pastoral, as well as being a member of the History Department.
She has had a long and keen interest in the history of girls’ education and has carried out post-doctoral research in this area.
