Prior to his appointment as Assistant Head, Teaching & Learning (Innovation) at St Pauls Girls' School, Giles has had a number of roles across the independent sector spanning both pastoral and academic leadership spheres, with an active interest in admissions at 11+.
After attending Winchester College, he earned degrees in music and mathematics before discovering a passion for educational research. He completed his masters at Brasenose College, Oxford, focusing on the emotional components of maths learning. He is currently researching the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in Education through a PhD at the Institute of Education, UCL.
