Felicity has been an English teacher at St David’s College for 10 years, delivering lessons to groups of students across KS3-5, many of whom have SpLD. After completing her BA (Hons) and PGCE (Secondary), Felicity taught for five years at Ysgol Eifionydd in Porthmadog before moving to St David’s where she gained the Teaching Dyslexic Learners qualification from Bangor University. In 2019 she visited Australia with Danielle as part of Rotary’s Vocational Training Team to share good practice and support teachers in Queensland involved in educating pupils with SpLD, focusing specifically on how to differentiate effectively and ensure an inclusive classroom experience.
In addition to teaching English, Felicity is Head of Year 7, Educational Visits and Activities Coordinator and is involved in the school’s boarding provision. Outside of the classroom, Felicity is an Assistant Principal Examiner for English O Level and works as a Vetter, Setter and Quality Assurer.
