This week David Walker, Director of the Boarding Schools' Association, visited SGS and saw a tree which was planted in our grounds ten years ago to launch a "global orchard".

David enjoyed our tour of our fantastic boarding facilities and even sampled the apples from the tree, which was the first to be planted as part of the BSA's boarding orchard.

The scheme involves boarding schools across the world joining the orchard by planting fruit trees in their grounds. They demonstrate each school’s commitment to growth and caring for the environment.
