At Wycliffe we prepare our young people to succeed and find their passions in a globalised world. Our curriculum is shaped to develop critical thinking enhanced through opportunity to problem solving all while promoting and encouraging a love of learning.

We are in a beautiful part of the Gloucestershire Cotswolds with a timeless and quintessentially ‘rural Boarding School’ feel, yet we are progressive, harness technology, have a relentless and authentic focus on developing a global perspective in our pupils and a gratitude for all the opportunities enjoyed.

We have a strong history of success in Extra-Curricular and Pastoral excellence and Academic excellence.

We achieved ISI ‘Excellent’ in all areas in our inspection in September 2022, and exam outcomes consistently high, producing outstanding added value, including grammar-ability pupils outachieving selective grammar schools’ results year-on-year.  The breadth of and range of courses that 2023 pupils went on to study including at the world’s top universities such as Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge and we continue to punch above our weight in sport with national achievements in Rowing, Squash, Basketball, and more.

We have created a close-knit community where each child has a voice. We have a strong focus on positive mental well-being, and your child’s welfare and happiness is at the centre of everything we do.

The house system provides every pupils whether they are a boarder or a day pupil with a place to call their own. A space where they can work and socialise. With around 220 Full Boarders in the Senior School and 70 in the Prep School, the Boarding Community is about half of all pupils at Wycliffe.

Our life skills programme helps prepare pupils for essential skills they will need later in life. These include debating, analysing, developing responsibility and working as a team.

We encourage you to book in a visit to see our school in actions, and meet our wonderful pupils.
