UWC Atlantic College

UWC Atlantic is an independent boarding school for students aged 16‐19. The College offers the International Baccalaureate curriculum (IB). In addition to the academics, UWC Atlantic places student participation in community service at its core. It is known for its liberal and progressive education, its global ethos, and its strong focus on local and global sustainability. It is attended by approximately 360 students from more than 90 countries, the majority of whom are selected through their National Committees, which, along with the college, help fund their education through partial or full scholarships. Around 60% of students receive some form of financial aid. UWC Atlantic is part of the United World College movement and is one of 18 different colleges across the globe, all in different countries on four continents, to deliver a challenging and transformational education to over 9500 students each year.
