Minerva Virtual Academy is an innovative and fully DfE accredited online school for students aged 11 to 18. We provide a world-class alternative to traditional bricks-and-mortar education, enabling students to excel academically and personally from the comfort of their own homes, wherever they are in the world.
Our mission is to redefine the way alternative education is delivered and perceived. By embracing modern technology and placing student well-being at the heart of everything we do, Minerva Virtual Academy offers a safe, supportive, and personalised learning environment tailored to meet the needs of every individual.
We deliver the British curriculum, offering over 20 subjects at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. Alongside live lessons led by expert teachers, each student is assigned a personal mentor who provides one-to-one guidance outside of class. This unique approach ensures every learner receives the personalised support they need to succeed, whether they are aiming for academic excellence or developing skills for the future.
At Minerva Virtual Academy, we believe education should be flexible and inclusive. Our programme is designed to support students from all walks of life, including those with SEND needs, elite athletes, and young people experiencing anxiety or seeking a more adaptable schooling option. Thanks to our partnership with Pearson, students even have the option to take their iGCSEs at home using their Remote Invigilation Service—a groundbreaking innovation in online education.
Our dynamic weekly timetable extends beyond academics, with virtual assemblies, clubs, co-curricular programmes, and well-being sessions. These activities connect students with their peers, fostering a sense of belonging within our vibrant global community.
