Merchiston is proud to introduce The Forest Nursery and Forest Junior School, a co-educational provision for boys & girls aged 3-9. The Forest’s ground-breaking approach to education empowers children to become confident, curious and resilient learners with broad imaginations. Our rolling admissions, means that by 2028 our primary provision will be co-educational from Nursery through Primary 7.
Our Middle and Senior School provision remains boys-only, so whether your child dreams of academic achievements, sporting excellence or a well-rounded education that encompasses both, our experienced educators work tirelessly to help him realise those aspirations. Our co-curricular programme offers an incredibly diverse experience and our specialised Tennis and Golf Academies offer elite training alongside customised academic programmes, ensuring talented athletes can excel without compromising their education.
Wellbeing underpins everything we do and our smaller school community makes for meaningful and connected conversations - this ensures we get to know your child really well and we can support and motivate them in just the right way.
