At London Vocational Ballet School, we are dedicated to shaping the future stars of classical dance, providing them with a solid foundation that blends the artistry of ballet with a comprehensive academic education. Our commitment to excellence sets us apart as a premier vocational ballet institution, where students thrive both as dancers and scholars.

Our mission is clear: to prepare aspiring dancers for the rigours of upper school ballet training, all while fostering their intellectual growth. Small class sizes lie at the heart of our approach, ensuring that every student receives personalised attention and tailored guidance.

From Year 6 to Year 11, we offer a comprehensive educational journey that focuses on the renowned British classical technique. For our younger aspiring dancers, our associate program provides a stepping stone towards future excellence.

One of our proudest achievements lies in our distinguished alumni, who have left an indelible mark on the performing arts industry. Their successes reflect the dedication, passion, and transformative education that define the London Vocational Ballet School experience.

Whether your aspirations lie in the world of dance or you seek a holistic education that nurtures both body and mind, London Vocational Ballet School is your destination for excellence.

At LVBS, we pride ourselves on offering an inclusive and personalised approach to education. Admission to the school is not contingent upon academic prowess. Upon joining us, students participate in academic assessments designed to identify their individual strengths and areas requiring improvement.

A Comprehensive Academic Week

London Vocational Ballet School offers a comprehensive academic curriculum, encompassing all core subjects such as English literature, foreign language, and mathematics. Our approach caters to students of varying abilities, offering both foundation and extended levels to accommodate individual learning needs.

In line with our commitment to holistic development, we place particular emphasis on Personal, Social, and Health Education (PSHE), as well as Relationships and Sex Education (RSE). Additionally, we focus on instilling modern British values and prioritising the mental and physical well-being of our students.

To ensure continuous growth, we diligently assess and record students' homework progress. Regular meetings and comprehensive reports are provided to keep parents informed about their child's academic journey. We firmly believe in the importance of individualised attention and support for each student's success.

Vocational Dance

Vocational Dance training is at the heart of our school. Our students come to us with potential and we guide them towards realising it through our renowned training.

In years 6 - 9, our vocational training program lays the groundwork for students by focusing on building a solid foundation in technique, musicality, and expressive abilities in classical dance and beyond.

As students progress into years 10 and 11, our training shifts gears to offer an increased exposure to classical and contemporary dance repertoire, refining their technical skills, and equipping them for potential admission to prominent dance institutions, both nationally and internationally.

Students frequently engage with prominent industry experts, coaches, and choreographers, affording them valuable insights into the wider professional landscape and the expectations of working in professional settings.

Throughout this journey, many of our young learners discover additional talents and passions for various facets of dance and the performing arts. LVBS's unique emphasis on nurturing classical dancers with versatile abilities in singing, acting, and musical theatre dance ensures that our students are prepared for a successful career in the artistic field, regardless of where their unique talents may lead them
