Kings Bournemouth is a unique independent college in an inspirational location. We are part of a global education group which has pioneered an international approach to education for over 60 years. GCSEs at Kings Bournemouth offer highly personalised learning and very small classes to ensure maximum student-teacher interaction. At Kings Bournemouth we offer both a standard two-year and an accelerated one-year GCSE programme with subjects that include Mathematics, English, Art, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, History, Information Technology and Physics.

Our GCSE Booster Summer Camp is designed to help students catch up in core subjects (English, Maths, Sciences) while making the most of the great outdoors on our doorstep in Bournemouth. The course combines revision in the core subjects with a lively and engaging programme of team games and outdoor activities designed to bring the curriculum to life.

The college is well-equipped and carefully designed to give a spacious contemporary feel and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The indoor and outdoor spaces are ideal for socialising, reflection and quiet study.

Every student has their own journey and ambition. We work with each student to realise that ambition through the selection of courses, close support in university applications and ensuring they are developing as a rounded individual.

Acceptance to the most selective universities requires more than just good grades. Students will need to demonstrate their understanding of the demands, skills and attributes required for the successful completion of their chosen degree. This should be evidenced though a broad and relevant range of interests and experience. At Kings we offer a complete enrichment programme where students are able to take part in a wide range of sporting activities with local clubs, join the Student Council or Debating Club, experience university lectures, complete the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards, to name a few.

Kings’ students have recently won places at all of the UK’s top 30 ranked universities and specialist Higher Edu cation institutions, progressing to prestigious degrees in a broad range of subject areas.
