École Jeannine Manuel is an independent bilingual international school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18, located in Paris, London and Lille. The school welcomes 3300 pupils in France (including 120 boarders in Lille) and 500 pupils in London. École Jeannine Manuel’s mission is to promote international understanding through the bilingual education of a multicultural community of students. Our pupils live, learn and grow among children from all over the world.
A UNESCO associated school, École Jeannine Manuel is accredited by the French Ministry of Education and several international accrediting bodies. Pupils follow an ambitious bilingual core curriculum through Year 11 and, in Year 12, opt for either a French or an English‐driven curriculum. In Sixth Form, pupils choose the course of studies (IB or French‐international track) that best suits their tastes, strengths, higher education aspirations and cultural preferences. Both tracks are recognised by the most selective universities in the world. Non‐French speakers are welcome at every stage. If they come early, they quickly join our bilingual core; if not, they follow an English‐driven curriculum, but are still expected to attain a high level of French proficiency. École Jeannine Manuel Paris is one of France’s top schools, ranked first for the past seven years among French lycées (state and independent).
While we are proud of our pupils’ academic achievements, our school’s ethos is first and foremost student‐centred, focused on each child’s overall development and wellbeing. Supporting pupils’ higher education ambitions is a key feature of education at École Jeannine Manuel. University guidance begins in Year 10, focusing primarily on the UK, the US, France and Canada, but also reaching English‐taught programmes in Europe and in Asia. Our school sends more graduates to Ivy League colleges in the US, to Oxbridge, and to Russell Group Universities in the UK than any other school in France.
