Stand: 123

Did you know that there are 88,000 people in the UK currently living with a brain tumour and that another 33 people are diagnosed every day? They’re the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet treatments have barely improved in a generation and survivability remains low.

At The Brain Tumour Charity, we’re committed to saving and improving lives. We’re moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour live longer, better lives. Working together is key and we’re so excited to be the chosen charity partner for the Schools Show. Any money kindly donated from this event will be restricted to the Angel Child Fund in memory of Alfie Bartlam who died in 2019, aged just seven years old.

The Angel Child Fund at The Brain Tumour Charity supports a ground breaking research project costing £1.44m and led by Professor Richard Gilbertson, a paediatric oncology clinician and Director of the Cambridge Cancer Centre at Cambridge University. Through this project, Professor Gilberston and his team plan to develop transformative therapies for rare childhood brain tumours, which is so desperately needed.

Together, we have the power to build a better future, a world where those diagnosed with a brain tumour live longer and better lives. With you standing beside us, we can accelerate new treatments, drive better care and raise crucial awareness of brain tumours nationwide.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support.
