During each step of their journey, our children are given a plethora of exciting opportunities to learn and develop - mentally, socially, creatively and physically. Our inspirational Common Room sits within the heart of the school and delivers an exceptional curriculum which develops a life long thirst for learning. As one of the early adopters of the Pre Senior Baccalaureate programme our children graduate from our school with exceptional future-ready skills. They learn the importance of collaboration, commitment, curiosity, leadership, perseverance, reflection, risk-taking and developing a sense of community. A strong co-curricular programme opens up a world of experiences for your child to delve into and enrich their learning.

The estate has been thoughtfully designed with children in mind, from our Grade II* Lutyens building, light and airy dance studio overlooking our multi-purpose sports pitch, our award-winning Visual Arts Centre and our brand new state of the art Library. All of this is nestled away in the beautiful Surrey countryside and in easy commuting distance of Guildford, Farnham, Petersfield, London and the South Coast.

With our IT provision, we have demonstrated our forward-thinking approach to learning, which stood us in good stead during these unprecedented times. With each child from Year 5 onwards having their own school laptop, we have ensured lessons were able to continue quickly and efficiently using Microsoft Teams. This enabled teachers and pupils to remain in regular contact and ensure continuity to learning. Years 3 and 4 were supportedusing a combination of Wakelet to provide teaching and resources to pupils and Google Hangouts to interact with them and our EYFS provision connected using Tapestry for daily interactionsfrom their teachers including video clips as part of core teaching and learning phonics and English and Maths.

TheAmesburyethos runs firmly through the school. We are a relaxed and a nurturing school, with a strong emphasis on treating every child and their learning path as individuals. We recognise the importance of a holistic approach to well-being and education, with pastoral care as equally important as academic rigour. Every child is treated as an individual and as an equal - the school has a very strong sense of mutual respect.
