Haileybury
About

Haileybury is a co-educational boarding and day school that puts pupils at the heart of everything we do. We are situated on a historic 500 acre campus just 20 miles from north London.
We prepare pupils for life beyond school. We do this by inspiring academic excellence and empowering each individual to discover their passion through an abundance of co-curricular activities. All of this is delivered in a nurturing and supportive environment based around our House system.
Founded in 1862, Haileybury is proud of its history, tradition, community and values, taking the best from the past while looking to the future. Academic rigour and outstanding co-curricular provision are at the heart of the school, providing the exceptional opportunities and truly all-round education that allow our pupils to discover enduring passions and talents. Haileyburians leave as confident, tolerant and ambitious individuals who are leaders and life-long learners and who can make a difference in the world beyond school.
The choice and range of opportunities pupils have at Haileybury is enormous, be it in the arts, sport, activities or clubs: sailing, rowing, horse-riding, rugby, golf (including our own golf simulator) football, hockey (with our new second all-weather surface we have excellent facilities), lacrosse, netball, swimming, CCF, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Model United Nations, charity and community action and much more is on offer. Pupils benefit from professional sports coaches and the school regularly hosts world-class speakers and performers from the arts, sporting and academic worlds.
The school has a busy programme of events and family activities throughout the year. We warmly invite you to visit to discover what life at Haileybury has to offer and why your child will flourish here.
